Up to 15 comedians will throw one liners, characters, audience heckles and more to try and make it past the 5 minute mark.

YOU DECIDE what's funny and what's not by cheering/booing for 3 randomly-chosen audience judges (which may rotate) to make their decision.

The judges can vote the comedian OFFSTAGE by holding up their card.

Once all THREE judge cards go up the comedian is GONGED off stage.

Any comedians who make it to 5 minutes will get to the final 1 minute show-down for the first prize of $100 CASH (!!).

Bring your heckles, grab a beer and join your friends on the last Monday of every month for a comedy night to remember.

Our short course is an introduction to the fun and glamorous world of burlesque! The course is all about having fun whilst discovering, exploring and drawing out your sexy, sensual inner burlesque queen, in a playful, safe and friendly environment!

Consisting of six 1-hour sessions over six weeks, you'll be introduced to the history of burlesque, You'll learn how to be a glamour queen, including what to wear, how to walk (even in sky-high heels!) and how to exude confidence and sex appeal! You'll explore the art of the tease-artiste - how to play with a strap, peel a glove or strip a stocking to tantalise an audience... or just that special someone! And of course, we'll cover all the fundamentals of burlesque dance! You'll shimmy, shake, undulate, bump, grind, wiggle, jiggle, twirl and swirl your way through the classic burlesque moves and some fun group choreography. It's dead easy and a fun low-impact workout too!

Thirty five photographic artists will have their selected works exhibited at Perthâs Centre for Photography this coming Thursday for the CLIP award 2009. The CLIP award is a photography competition, which focuses on
non traditional landscape photography from photomedia artists all over the country. The exhibition will be officially opened by Helen Morgan, Director of Turner galleries.
