The producers of the award-winning Motortown (Blue Room Theatre, 2008) join with multi-award winning Perth playwright Ian Wilding for a humorous vivisection of the mighty modern condition.
Meet Tim and Angela. Successful, bright young things - living in a beautiful, happy home with all the comforts one could beg.
Until a stranger punctures the pretty complacency of their lives. The miasmic seeds sewn into their love by his soft suggestions are explosive, undermining all they hold dear. Once the fuse is lit, question turns to doubt; doubt to suspicion; and suspicion to hateful conviction.
As desperation mounts and self-preservation kicks in, fear sets them on a slippery road of moral compromise and we learn just how far a couple will go to reclaim their piece of peace.
This is social-domestic terrorism at its best.
“There is an uncomfortable edge to the laughter in this work...a dark parody of domestic familiarity turned sinister” – Sydney Morning Herald
