The William Street Collective Incorporated is an association of people involved in Northbridge's Cultural and Creative Industries. The Collective aims to both raise the profile of the existing industry and help encourage more like minded activities to the area.
Who Qualifies?
Membership is open to individuals, employees, students and owners of Northbridge based:
- creative industries; activities that focus on creating and exploiting intellectual property products.
- cultural industries; public-supported not-for-profit creative activities.
- organisations that show strong and continued support to local creative/cultural industries
- educational facilities that offer creative/cultural based studies
- students of creative/cultural based courses
- located in the suburb of Northbridge or within the bounds of Roe,Bulwer, Fitzgerald and Stirling Streets.
What this means is anyone whose core business is dependent on the creative output of the individuals who work there, or whose business shows a strong focus in supporting these local creatives is eligible.
*The Collective defines Northbridge's boundaries as Roe, Beaufort, Bulwer and Fitzgerald Streets.
How does it work?
Membership is free. Fill out the online Membership Application Form here.
What do I get?
- a public profile on the OnWilliam.com.au website (if you wish)
- access to post your upcoming events on the OnWilliam.com.au website
- notification of meetings: you're welcome at our meetings if you would like to get more involved
- invitations to take part in events and advertising produced by the Collective: some of these may involve additional costs
- networking with other local creatives: there will be many opportunities to meet with other industry members
- voting rights at General Meetings: you can run for and vote at annual committee elections
