Popsicle 08

After years of a seemingly endless pursuit for mediocre macrame wall displays, Jessie Mitchell proposed to Stephanie Spencer a useful application for their pottery, cross-stitch and paint-by-numbers weekends.
They were on to too much of a good thing. Hence, in late 2007, came the immaculate conception of Golden Child. Born into a dusty studio on the outskirts of Northbridge, Golden Child has been raised with good manners and a strong moral compass, a hankering for bold intriguing graphics, avant- garde feminine silhouettes and narrative behind each collection.
Derived from notions of amateur Egyptology during the 1920's, Golden Child's 'The Importance of Documenting Your Journey' encompasses a collection of printed silks, cotton and leather for Summer 08/09.
Meet Golden Child at Popsicle, rosy- cheeked and eager to please.
