MD is short for Mercenary+Damask; an art collective - Aaron Seymour and Nicole Norelli. In the past they have produced exhibitions and worked collaboratively with The Ponies and The Community.
In their newest venture Mercenary+Damask has produced MD and MD Limited Edition, which aims to publish local artists from all genres of visual art. From photographers, illustrators, street artists, designers and everything in between. Shedding light on our homegrown talent, allows us to get to know who they are, where they come from and how they came to be.
Going ahead of schedule, Popsicle will feature MD Limited Edition #1 featuring emerging illustrator and street artist, MANDY. Future artists will include Tanya Schultz, Tom Green and Alice Anon.
Keep your eyes peeled for the launch in December '08.
